On July 6,1944, one of the worst fire disasters in American history occurred in Hartford. Photos and artifacts from the
Connecticut Museum’s collection will help tell the stories of that day and examine the ways in which Connecticuters have continued to identify, honor, and bring justice to the victims in the intervening decades.
