Romano Girlanda, President of the Marlborough Preservation Society, will introduce free online resources for historic and genealogy research, sharing examples of search techniques.

Free Online resources available to all:
– Connecticut Archives
– Library of Congress
– Historic Newspapers
– Town GIS
– FindAGrave

Connecticut State Library resources (require a St. Library card):
– Genealogy Books
– Probate Records
– War Records
– Colonial Records
– Census Records

Some resources require a Connecticut State Library card to access, but a card is not required to attend the program.
