Defining a Sense of Place in an Age of Cyberspace

On Sunday Oct. 4th from 11 a.m. – 2 p.m., the Hebron Historical Society, located at 26 Main St., will open its doors and welcome visitors to see its America 250 exhibit, which traces Hebron’s development from 10,000 years ago to modern suburb.

“Defining a Sense of Place in an Age of Cyberspace” is an exhibit organized around the theme that the land in Hebron has been shaped by the people and events that occurred in its past and will continue to be reshaped in the future .

Changes in the land due to global, national and regional events have all affected Hebron. The goal of the exhibit is to allow visitors an opportunity to understand how a small town became interconnected with a wider world.
